The product combines the best features of both babbit and bronze as a bearing material. Compared to ordinary bronzes, bearium metal alloys offer longer life, load support during periods of poor lubrication without damage to the mating part and operate with complete satisfaction under conditions usually considered prohibitive. Cored and solid bars can be supplied in a range of sizes up to 10" diameter and 13" long. Larger diameters can be supplied on special orders.
